Kaila explains her artwork. “In my work I seek to capture a sense of the past – of a time forgotten. To do so, I look to myth and lore, to the natural world and to ancient ways. I search for anything with roots, and dig deep beyond the mundane world and into the fantastic. This collection of drawings and paintings highlight creatures and man-beasts from this world.”
