To call Junko Mizuno an international artist is to belittle the term. Junko has exhibited in one form or another on five continents, and her Manga work has been translated into more than a handful of languages. Not one to limit herself to a single medium, her artwork has taken the form of vinyl figures, plush animals, collectible stickers, custom stationary, fine clothing and even a line of erotic products. Her graphic novel releases are publishing industry events and her paintings are extraordinary. Colors swirl in impossibly tantalizing metrics as stylized forms both comforting and disturbing play upon and explore her canvases freely. Euphoria is Junko's first feature exhibition at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, and it is certainly not to be missed.
