UPDATE ON GALLERY AND STORE HOURS: ( CLICK TO VIEW )

Dear Artists and Patrons of La Luz de Jesus Gallery, Soap Plant, & Wacko,

Our physical space will be closing for the next few weeks out of an abundance of safety for our beloved customers, employees, friends, and family. The businesses will resume regular walk-in hours starting early-mid April, possibly later depending on recommendations from the CDC, State, and Local health agencies.

Artists with artwork in the current exhibition or those who have work in our inventory, the work is safe inside the gallery, and we will reach out to you individually with our plan for continuing to exhibit the work or to return the work via shipping to your studios. Please bear with us as this may not be able to happen until at least early-mid April, possibly later, depending on recommendations from the CDC, State, and Local health agencies, as well as shipping companies and US Post Office.

Collectors who have purchased artwork from our current exhibition or online: we will make every effort to get the work shipped out to you as soon as it is safe to do so. Please understand that the gallery is mostly a one-employee operation. Again, I will make every effort to get the work out promptly as soon as it is safe.

Upcoming Exhibitions have been changed and rescheduled, and we will update those dates accordingly based on recommendations from the CDC, State, & Local health officials. The gallery will be moving to a virtual exhibition format for the time being until things return to normal, and our physical space is safe for the general public to visit.

Our current world seems uncertain, and this is a new day for all of us in the visual and performing arts community. The gallery urges everyone to support one another online as much as possible, view artists’ and arts organizations’ websites, watch artist video blogs, follow their social media channels, sign up for their Patreons, whatever you can do, and support.

The gallery will update and provide news via our website and newsletter accordingly as things change.

From all of us here at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, Soap Plant, & Wacko, we look forward to seeing all your smiling faces in the store soon. Stay safe, healthy, and, most of all, take care of one another.
