Can Opener is the first solo exhibition of Dave Yoas at La Luz de Jesus Gallery. NorCal artist Dave Yoas uses recycled tin to create his narrative artwork. Working with vintage tin imagery, Yoas creates slightly cynical, kitsch-inspired narratives about gun culture, sexual mores and other salient issues. He views his themes through his ironic, Hollywoodized lens and deftly turns the antiquated on its head.
