La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, California, showcases figurative and narrative paintings and unusual sculptures. Please read the guidelines carefully. The Exhibition will take place on August 2nd, 2024 and run through until August 31st, 2024. Artists need to be 18+ years of age to participate.
The deadline to submit work is May 15th, 2024, @ midnight PST.

Abstract expressionism, video or digital art, photography, prints, or conceptual installations will not be accepted. Not to say we don’t enjoy this type of art but it’s just not our thing.”
Guidelines
Size restriction: All artworks need to be 12 x 12 inches (including frame size) will be accepted. We strongly suggest using 12 x 12” pre-stretched canvas or panel to eliminate the need for framing. 3D work must be 12″ or smaller in its longest direction.
Shipping: Artists outside of Los Angeles are responsible for the cost of shipping their work to and from the gallery, including all taxes and duties for international artists.
Framing: Artwork does not have to be framed, but if it is, we encourage you not to use glass, please. Plexi is fine.
New Work Only: Artwork submitted must be made within this last calendar year (2023-2024).
Do not submit work that is for sale elsewhere.
All artwork must arrive ready to hang. If work arrives without hanging hardware, it will be returned and not exhibited.
Ready to hang means fully cured paint, wires with d-rings that can be hung on a 1″ long hook/nail without showing through the front.
Accepted Artwork: If artwork is accepted, adjustments are not possible.
Acceptance: Accepted artists will be notified After May 15th, 2024 and before May 30th, 2024.
Right of Sale: La Luz de Jesus Gallery will have the exclusive right of sale for exhibited artwork for 30 days after the exhibition’s close.
Payment: The artist and La Luz de Jesus Gallery split is a standard 50/50 split. If artwork sells, the artist will receive a payment within 30 days after the sale or close of the exhibition via check or Paypal. Artists are responsible for self-reporting on their taxes for sales.
It is the responsibility of the artist to deliver and retrieve their artwork. ARTWORK NOT RETRIEVED BY 2025 WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED BY THE ARTIST.
Filling out the 2024 Juried Submission Form
- Submit three different works for consideration.
- Please follow the prompts and correctly fill out each box indicated on the Google Form.
- Upload (up to three) low-resolution (72 PPI, 750 pixels wide), jpegs or pngs to the Google Form.
- File names for jpegs or png MUST be saved in this format: Artist Last Name_Title-of-Artwork.jpg
