La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, California, showcases figurative and narrative paintings and unusual sculptures but for the month of December, WACKO begins to utilize the front of the gallery space as additional floor space. The Gallery is offering the space to local artists looking to exhibit gift-friendly works for the Holiday season of gift-giving.
This exhibition is cash-and-carry for our patrons. No artwork will be listed on the website online inventory.
Please read the guidelines carefully. The Exhibition will take place from December 2nd, 2023 through January 7th, 2024. Artists need to be 18+ years of age to participate. The deadline to submit work is November 19th, 2023, @ midnight PST. Artists will be notified by Tuesday, November 21st of acceptance. DO NOT EMAIL IMAGES, PLEASE. ONLY SUBMISSIONS THROUGH THE PORTAL WILL BE REVIEWED.
Abstract expressionism, video or digital art, photography, prints, or conceptual installations will not be accepted. Not to say we don’t enjoy this type of art but it’s just not our thing.”
Guidelines
Size restriction: All artworks may not exceed 24″ in any dimension.
Shipping: Artists outside of Los Angeles are responsible for the cost of shipping their work to and from the gallery. Artwork arriving after December 1st may be hung as back-fill as other artwork sells.
Ready to hang: Artwork on canvas or panel does not have to be framed, but if it is, we encourage you not to use glass, please. Plexi is fine. Artwork on paper must be framed or mounted. All artwork must have wire fastened across the back.
Artwork does not need to be newly produced or never showcased to be considered.
Accepted Artwork: If artwork is accepted, adjustments are not possible.
Acceptance: Accepted artists will be notified by Tuesday, November 21st of acceptance.
Right of Sale: La Luz de Jesus Gallery will have the exclusive right of sale for exhibited artwork during the period of exhibition. Artwork will not be listed on our website.
Payment: The artist and La Luz de Jesus Gallery split is a standard 50/50 split. If artwork sells, the artist will receive a payment within 30 days after the sale or close of the exhibition.
It is the responsibility of the artist to deliver and retrieve their artwork.

- Upload (up to three) low-resolution (72 PPI, 750 pixels wide), jpegs to the Google Form.
- File names for jpegs MUST be saved in this format: Artist Last Name_Title-of-Artwork.jpg
