Lost and Found: Assemblage Group Show

La Luz de Jesus Gallery’s exhibition Lost and Found, an exhibition celebrating the medium of found objects, opens April 5th at 4633 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

Over 60 artists fill the walls and floors of the gallery with unusual sculptures. Some political, some kooky and some down right creepy. All giving a second life to discarded and forgotten objects.

Opening reception is April 5th, from 7pm to 10pm at La Luz de Jesus Gallery. Free admission to the public. Exhibition closes April 28th, 2024.

Painting You a Story – FADNAT

Painting You a Story

Solo Exhibition from artist FADNAT

January 5 – January 28, 2024

Reception: Friday, January 5th. 7pm – 11pm

Painting You a Story is Los Angeles artist FADNAT’s way of producing something akin to an adult storybook filled with sardonic, absurdist tales featuring uncanny characters, anomalous creatures, and every imaginable odd and end. For FADNAT, the story comes last: he begins by creating abstract shapes, then slowly defines them by teasing out the creatures and characters that populate his images. Starting thus with chaos and ending with cohesive stories, FADNAT finds delight in the absurdism of reality and looks to push it even further beyond comprehension while also trying to make you laugh.
