JOSÉ RODOLFO LOAIZA ONTIVEROS “Wonder Pop”

José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros returns with Wonder Pop!

Building on the themes of tolerance and acceptance ubiquitous in his work, Rodolfo combines beloved animated characters with pop culture icons and scenes from art history with delirious moments of the domestic and the divine.

Wonder Pop is the heroic herald of the zeitgeist.

Happy Endings are no longer the proprietary dream of fairytale fiction, but even as taboos crumble, social vulnerability reveals a reality hithertofore unseen by the disenfranchised.

How will fragile situations alter extraordinary beings when notions of sin and suppression have been discarded?

The answer is a heady blend of entertainment, fashion, and excess with a subversive sprinkle of magical kitsch.

Come celebrate the age of equality with Wonder Pop!

J.A.W. COOPER – “Viscera”

J.A.W. Cooper was born in England and grew up in Kenya, Sweden, Ireland and the United States. A love of drawing and a fascination toward nature, other cultures, and different ways of perceiving the world evolved naturally while travelling the globe with ecologist parents, and these early influences continue to inform Cooper’s work.

J.A.W. Cooper’s newest series “Viscera” explores instinct and intuition as the spark of creation, to delight the feral child at our core.
